Janice in Italian American Reconciliation by John Patrick Shanley
"[Lynnia] Shanley is Credibly creepy (and lovely) as Janice." - Pat Launer (Times of San Diego)
"...it's like some magic trick. The character is so deeply contradictory. There's no way to make sense out of this person. But Lynnia did! Janice seemed genuine and funny and moving; angry and hostile, but vulnerable and longing.
I don't know what her preparation process is like, but the result is amazing." |
"Her performance moved me."
"She embodied Janice's broad complexity, equal parts unhinged, scary, heartbreakingly vulnerable and thoroughly lovable." "...powerful, intimate, and funny!" |
